Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp
Bang bang shrimp without the deep fryer: the air fryer gives you light, crispy shrimp, then a quick creamy sweet-chilli sauce takes them over the top. It’s a restaurant favourite you can make at home in about 20 minutes.
Pile them onto rice, into tacos, or serve as a starter. For a savoury, garlicky version, try our air fryer garlic Parmesan shrimp.
How to get crispy air fryer bang bang shrimp
Coat in cornstarch first so the egg and panko grip, cook in a single layer, and toss in the sauce only at the very end so they stay crunchy. Cook the shrimp to a safe internal temperature of 63°C (145°F).
