Crispy Air Fryer French Fries
Crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, and made with just a spoonful of oil — these air fryer French fries are everything you want without the deep fryer. Once you nail the method you’ll never reach for the frozen bag again.
They’re the perfect side for our air fryer chicken breast or a batch of wings.
How to get extra-crispy air fryer fries
The secret is the soak: resting the cut fries in cold water pulls out surface starch, then drying them thoroughly lets them crisp instead of steam. Cook in a single layer and shake the basket a few times so every side browns.
